3 – AGE CATEGORIES:

Eligible: Men and women aged 35 and over on 20 November 2025

Each category covers a 5-year interval, determined by the completed age on November 20, 2025. Here are the ranges with the corresponding dates of birth

Age category as of Nov 20TH 2025, date of birth between (inclusive):

Each category spans 5 years (e.g., M35 = 35–39)

Example: Born 01/09/1981 = M40; Born 21/11/1980 = M45

4 – REGISTRATION AND FEES:

Participants are invited to register through the online system on the website http://www.open-african-masters-tunisia-2025.com and indicate the number of events as well as the accommodation needs and other services mentioned in the table below.

5 – COMPETITION VENUES:

Online registration will be available from september 7th until November 5th at midnight GMT.

It is important that Masters participants respect the registration deadlines.

6 – COMPETITION SITE

All events take place in Radès: track and field, cross-country, half-marathon, race walk

6 – TRAVEL:

Athletes must arrange their own travel and inform the LOC of arrival and departure details to allow for transportation from the airport to the hotel and from the hotel to the airport, the costs of which are included in the accommodation fees.

The official airport is Tunis Carthage Airport. The LOC will provide welcome services and internal transportation.

7 – ACCOMMODATION:

4-star and 5-star hotels arranged by LOC

Accommodation prices per person per night are shown in the following table:

Accommodation invoices will be based on the information (number of guests and arrival/departure details) provided in the registration system or by email to the following address: tun@mf.worldathletics.iaaf.org.

Accommodation fees may be paid after online registration by bank transfer or in cash at the athlete accreditation hotel.

8 – INSURANCE & MEDICAL:

Each participating athlete must purchase an insurance policy for themselves and their accompanying persons, covering illness or injury incurred during the outward and return journeys and during the championships themselves.

The LOC is committed to ensuring participants during competitions.

The LOC provides medical coverage through the presence of doctors on site during competitions and at hotel accommodations.

9 – VISAS:

Any participant requiring a visa must request an official invitation letter from the LOC to submit their visa application to the Tunisian embassy in the country concerned.

For any information regarding visas, please contact the LOC by email at tun@mf.worldathletics.org.

If no embassy is present, the LOC will endeavor to coordinate with the authorities in Tunisia to issue visas at Tunis Carthage Airport upon arrival.

To do so, applicants are required to provide a clear copy of the information page of their passports.

10 – PARTICIPATION & MEDALS:

Open to all nationalities

Top 3 Africans: gold, silver, bronze medals + certificate

Non-Africans: commemorative medals + certificate

11 – TOURS:

Cultural/tourist tours organized by LOC – info on website

12 – SOUVENIRS:

Each participant receives a gift
